Discovery coming home
Ready for landing of the Space Shuttle Discovery at EAFB in California. This is the 3rd landing opportunity as the first 2, scheduled for Kennedy Space Center in Florida, were scrubbed due to inclement weather. Godspeed Discovery.

Updated: Discovery is home, great landing everybody. For the record Fox News had the best coverage of this successful event. Buzz Aldrin and that other dude, name escapes me, did a nice job breaking everything down. While Discovery was going through re-entry, Fox News had a file video running that showed what the Astronauts were going through. The spectacular light show, the fireball outside the shuttle.

With winners there are losers and that would be, who else.......NBC BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA. They basically ignored it until the last 20 minutes or so. They went their own way with other stories, they were the rebels of the day. Rebellions without a cause.

ABC, anchored by Charles Gibson, did a good job with the best graphical, virtual display of the essential statistical analysis.

CSPAN2 had the live NASA TV coverage and the Playboy channel had nude chicks with those big ass helmets on anchoring their coverage to top Fox News.

Good job all around with the exception of NBC owned by GE. The only things good on that channel are Katie Couric, Conan O'Brien and Campbell Brown.
